I turn into a different person behind the wheel and most of the time it's because of my pet peeves about:
- Slowpokes who will not move near or at the speed limit on the passing lane (hello? That's why there are the slow lanes - move aside and let other people pass!)
- People who deliberately step on the gas once they see you signal for a lane change - worse yet, people who do this when you're already halfway into the new lane - and still honk because you had managed to merge into the huge space between his vehicle and the vehicle that was in front of him.
- On the other end of the spectrum, people who think they own the road and therefore should get right-of-way regardless of traffic conditions - they squeeze in front even when there's hardly a car's length, then hard-brake because they realize there's really no space to go.
- Drivers that don't check blind spots - and half the time it's because they are too busy talking on their cellphone!
